Switchgear and Underground Sensors

High Accuracy Sensors for Data Center Applications

Lindsey switchgear sensors are ideal for almost any data center application.  Current and voltage sensors offer excellent harmonic response and are available with accuracies to 0.1%, making them ideal for metering and protection. Different sensor families are available for use with metal-clad, dead-front, live-front, and SF6- or oil-insulated switchgear.

NEW LEA/LPIT Sensors

Low Energy Analog (LEA) voltage and current sensors are now available. Sensors feature RJ-45 connectors and are compatible with LEA-input versions of SEL-700 Series Relays and LPIT versions of Siemens SIPROTEC 5 Relays.  A flexible Rogowski coil option is also available for both relay families.

Lindsey offers a complete range of current and voltage sensors for pad-mount, metal-clad, underground, live-front, dead-front, oil-filled, SF6, and submersible switchgear applications.

Lindsey sensors and bushings are also ideal for metering cabinet applications.

  • High accuracy voltage (0.5% standard, and 0.3% and 0.15% metering accuracy)
  • High accuracy (1%, 0.3% and 0.15S) current measurements
  • Voltage sensors for live-front, dead-front, oil-filled and SF6 insulated switchgear
  • Low voltage analog/low-power instrument transformer (LEA/LPIT) voltage and current sensors meeting IEEE C37.92 and IEC 61869-10, -11, and – 13 standards
  • Low voltage switchgear voltage sensors
  • Split-core current sensor provides installation flexibility
  • Ring-type current sensors for high accuracy applications
  • Cast-in cable option for submersible applications

When automating legacy equipment without auxiliary power availability, Lindsey’s patented underground power supply installs quickly to provide a source of 12 VDC power for meters, radios, controls and RTUs.
