New sensor is ideal for live-front switchgear where space is limited.

February 22, 2024, Azusa, CA – New Type LVS voltage sensor is designed for use in live front switchgear where integral voltage sensing is required but space for mounting traditional voltage sensing instruments is limited.

“High accuracy voltage sensing is finally available for live-front switchgear applications,” said Jack McCall, Executive Vice President, Lindsey Systems. “The new LVS sensor is available in both 0.5% and 0.3% accuracy versions, and its slim design and flexible mounting bracket provide a form factor that makes it convenient and cost effective to install in both retrofit and OEM applications.”

The Type LVS sensor is suited to metering, relaying and control applications.
