ERS restoring tsunami affected area [video]
Quick post from Indonesia. The island of Sulawesi was devastated by a 7.5 magnitude earthquake and the following tsunami that hit the city of Palu. As this is being written, crews from PLN, the national utility of Indonesia, are putting together Lindsey ERS structures to help restore power. The below video clip shows some of the crew members moving a partially assembled tower by hand. This will be a 150kV, 90 degree tension tower to bypass a substation.
The rhythmic clank in the background is that of a sledgehammer driving in a foundation stake to hold the base of the structure.
